Pretty good post, though the constant references to millennials driving mid-budget movie consumption in the ‘80s and ‘90s pulled me out of it.

The oldest millennials were 7 in 1989 and 17 in 1999. That is an age range that drives top-40 radio, but not one that drives filmmaking.

Swap “Gen X” everywhere you say “millennial” and this piece is pretty spot on.
